Make+Think+Code is a media and technology-focused institute, research studio, and lab that brings together members of Portland’s vibrant creative, tech, civic, and educational communities to explore the powerful role that creativity and technology play in the search for imaginative and impactful solutions to complex and urgent problems.


Rockwood Library Makerspace

The Rockwood Library makerspace is a collaborative learning environment with an emphasis on middle and high school learners. The space provides access to innovative technology, equipment, software and supportive mentors. Within this 1,000 square-foot area, students learn real-life technology, design and engineering skills through open labs, workshops and camps.


PCC Fab Lab

The space hosts the Fab Lab, 3D art and sculpture classes demonstrating PCC Cascade’s commitment to art, sculpture, community and STEAM education.  The Fab Lab is available for use for all PCC students and staff.


PCC VRDC

The Virtual Reality Development Center is located at PCC Cascade, and is designed for immersive virtual and mixed/augmented reality development + testing. It consists of wall to wall immersive projection capabilities, four powerful VR development stations, 360 camera gear, 3D scanning gear and equipment for working on mixed reality projects with and without a VR headset.  Available for use to staff and students enrolled at PCC.
