Part hackathon, part geek social, Dorkbot is a relaxed, informal gathering of electronic artists, circuit designers, microcontroller programmers, retro computer scavengers, video game designers, digital archeologists, hackers, cyberpunks, and mod synth gearheads in Portland, Oregon.

Rockwood Library Makerspace
The Rockwood Library makerspace is a collaborative learning environment with an emphasis on middle and high school learners. The space provides access to innovative technology, equipment, software and supportive mentors. Within this 1,000 square-foot area, students learn real-life technology, design and engineering skills through open labs, workshops and camps.
PCC Fab Lab
The space hosts the Fab Lab, 3D art and sculpture classes demonstrating PCC Cascade’s commitment to art, sculpture, community and STEAM education. The Fab Lab is available for use for all PCC students and staff.
The Virtual Reality Development Center is located at PCC Cascade, and is designed for immersive virtual and mixed/augmented reality development + testing. It consists of wall to wall immersive projection capabilities, four powerful VR development stations, 360 camera gear, 3D scanning gear and equipment for working on mixed reality projects with and without a VR headset. Available for use to staff and students enrolled at PCC.
The Pacific NW College of Art was founded in 1909. This century old art school offers 11 Bachelor of Fine Art programs in art and design, eight graduate programs including Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts programs within the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies, a Post-Baccalaureate program, and Community Education courses for artists and designers of all ages.
